You have put a high priority on protecting the contents of your home; now it’s time to use that same commitment on your home’s exterior.
Avoid the constant seasonal battle by protecting your home against the harsh weather. With the installation of new soffits, fascias, and eavestroughs you will decrease your home maintenance tasks and need for repairs.
SOFFITS & FASCIA
Soffits run along the bottom of your roof overhang and connect to your fascia board, which is part of your roof structure. They not only provide ventilation to your attic, but they’re also aesthetically pleasing to the eye and protect your rafters from outdoor elements.
Fascia is a length of aluminum that is attached horizontally to the face of the fascia board. Fascia plays an aesthetic and functional role in the protection of your home’s underlying structure: its moulding forms a visually pleasing transition from the roof deck to your soffit, enhancing your curb appeal.
Soffit and Fascia are offered in many different colours that can be colour matched to your aluminum trim, capping and eavestrough.
EAVESTROUGH
Eavestrough system is your home’s rainwater solution. Having a proper well-installed eavestrough is important as it controls water flow and ensures moisture doesn’t pool and damage your property. We offer 5” continuous eavestrough, available in many colors to match your exterior.
CAPPING & TRIM
The term “capping” or “cladding” refers to wrapping a wood framed detail, such as a deck post, band, or a garage opening with a metal “cap” that is durable, weatherproof and long-lasting. The metal is cut, bent, and shaped to the same profile as the wood behind it and is then set over top covering the wood and encasing it in a maintenance free material that does not require painting. The purpose of capping goes beyond cutting maintenance and keeping up looks, capping will also help to protect the integrity of the wood beneath it.
The term “trim” refers to the detail around your windows and doors, as well as any of the horizontal and/or vertical bands that may be part of your exterior design. Bands are often placed in the gables or “peaks” of a home, running vertically or at angles (often called shadow bands), or may be placed horizontally in areas of the design, to break up or separate different materials (often called belly bands).
Exterior trim details can be custom bent from aluminum (colour matched to your capping, soffits, fascia and eavestrough) to a specific width, or, exterior trims may be installed using alternative materials such as Hardie Trim, LP Smart Trim, or PVC.
